San Jose Whole Home Remodel

From the Family room to the back master suite, this Whole Home Remodel is bursting with colors and textures that translate effortlessly throughout the home. During this remodel certain aspects were done specifically to accommodate this family’s need of space and arrival of a new furry addition.

In the modern hybrid Farmstead style great room, the bold black granite apron sink brings wonderful diversity, when paired with the Hale Navy island, and Lunada Bay backsplash tile that encases the kitchen. The breakfast nook was a wonderful added touch for this project, where the family can enjoy a wonderful meal or morning coffee together.

The laundry room was a major transformation that needed to occur, once a dark and gloomy dungeon is now a bright, and whimsical room that would make anyone be happy, doing the household chore of laundry. The Havana Ornate Silver tile flooring and Ice White backsplash tile translated nicely against the custom cabinetry. To accommodate the newest furriest member of the family, a hidden custom litter box pull-out was included in the cabinetry and cute cat door that would allow the new kitten to get in and out through its very own passageway.

May Construction was familiar to us before we even thought about starting our project. We had seen their previous work and knew this was the company we would use to help us create our forever home. From the first day they really listened to every conversation we had and drew up plans that exceeded our expectations. After that the May Construction Team took care of all stages of the renovation. It was so liberating to be able to trust the team with bringing our vision to life. They stuck very closely to their schedule, and we had weekly meetings to stay informed of progress. My favorite part was the fact that they were able to finish our project a few weeks ahead of schedule! Greg, Debbie, Donna, Eric, Troy, Bill, Jerry, Ernie, Allison. Everyone was so wonderful. I hope I didn’t forget anyone. Most importantly, we are really enjoying everything about our house now.
