May Construction, Inc. is based in San Jose, California, specializing in full house remodels, additions, kitchen and bath remodels.

Greg May, President, has lived in San Jose since 1976 and has been remodeling single family homes in the area with his father since 1977. Greg was taught to always make every effort to satisfy each customer, and this philosophy continues to be the cornerstone of May Construction, Inc. today.

At May Construction, Inc, we keep up with the latest trends in home remodeling and offer our clients a wide range of options in the design and completion of their project. Greg prides himself on putting together a project that is beyond the customer's expectations in finishes, options, and quality craftsmanship and provides that with extraordinary customer service.

When planning a remodeling project of any kind consider the following points:

Always choose among reputable contractors with many years experience.
Always ask for a referral list. A reputable contractor has built his good name on integrity, dependability and customer satisfaction.
Ask for proof of Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation. This will help protect you and your home.
Check the status of their contractor's license with California State Licensing Board. If you use an unlicensed contractor on your home you may have very little or no recourse if a problem arises.
Check to see how long the contractor has been in business.
Make sure your contractor will provide you with a schedule for your project including a completion date.

To become a Diamond Certified Company, May Construction, Inc. must pass a Satisfaction Research Survey and continue to pass one each quarter thereafter to maintain certification. This ensures that a Diamond Certified Company continues to perform for their customers. The goal is to identify those companies that provide the highest quality work as judged by their own customers. A rating score of 90-100 scale is required.
